	When dropping off or picking up children PLEASE drive slowly and observe the rules we have established: • Please DO NOT park in or block our neighbor's driveways. • Do not park in the loading zones. Fairmont St and the White Oak Way Cul-de-sacs are drop off zones. These areas should be used to DROP OFF students for school. There is NO PARKING in these zones. • Dogs are not allowed on campus at any time. If you walk your dog to school while dropping or picking up your child, we ask that you respect our walkways and NOT block the sidewalk or entrance ways people utilize to get to/from and onto/off of campus. • Siblings, who do not attend White Oaks, should remain with their parent at all times when on campus. No sibling should be on the yard during the instructional day (8:10-2:40). If a kindergarten parent is waiting with his/her child during drop-off/pick-up, the parent and child should wait together where the class lines up (mornings-on the blacktop near the office, afternoons-by the classroom). We know that you understand that the beginning and end of the day is a very critical time for teachers. In the morning, the teacher wants to begin the instructional day promptly. At the end of the day, teachers must be sure each child is picked up. Please know that teachers cannot visit or conference with you at these times unless it has been arranged to do so. It's best to email or call the teacher's voicemail to arrange a meeting. Teachers will respond promptly and be able to devote their full attention during a scheduled meeting.
