Thank you for your interest in our school and our school district. Below is some helpful information to get you started in the registration process:
1) All registration is handled by the San Carlos School District main office which is located at 826 Chestnut Street in San Carlos. If your child will be 5 by October 1, 2013, he/she is eligible to register for kindergarten. Registration is NOW open. Please visit the San Carlos School District website (www.sancarlos.k12.ca.us) for more information.
NOTE: Due to the impacted nature of enrollment throughout the SCSD, but particularly for White Oaks School, people living outside the Board Adopted Neighborhood Zone (BANZ) for White Oaks have not been admitted to our school since 2007. More information regarding the SCSD Enrollment Preferences can be found on the SCSD website (www.sancarlos.k12.ca.us, under the "Registration" tab and "Enrollment Procedures").
2) If you have questions about our school, our principal, Elizabeth Veal, is available between 9-11am most mornings to meet with you. Please email her, directly, to set up an appointment (eveal@sancarlos.k12.ca.us).
3) School tours are given at our kindergarten orientation meeting held in May for incoming kinder families. |
